Job Title: VP Finance

Reporting to: SVP Finance

Description:

AerDragon is the first Chinese lessor dedicated to aircraft operating lease. It is a joint venture among China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (China), AerCap (Ireland), CACIB (France) and East Epoch (Hong Kong, China). The company is looking for a strong finance leader to support its further development.

The position manages the company’s financial work inside and outside China including accounting, financial reporting, tax and other finance related work. This position is based in Beijing, China.

Responsibilities:

• – To take responsibility of management accounts and financial statements
• – To liase with external auditors including Chinese and Irish auditors on key accounting policies and estimates
• – To manage and develop the finance function
• – To maintain a sound internal control environment and implement appropriate procedures to identify potential internal control deficiencies and to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
• – To continuously improve the accounting and other related systems
• – To prepare board report and communicate with shareholders on financial matters

Required Experiences and Qualification:

• – Minimum 10 years of financial working experiences with at least five years in management positions;  prior experiences with international companies, state-owned enterprisesor Big Four accounting firms are preferred
• – Extensive knowledge and experience in IFRS
• – Master degree in finance or accounting is required; qualifications of CPA, ACCA or CFA are preferred
• – Knowledge and experiences in aircraft leasing, aviation or financial services industry are strongly preferred
• – Strong leadership and communication skills
• – Fluent in written and oral English particularly in formal report both in Chinese and English
• – Chinese citizen or right for work in China
