AerDragon is the first Chinese lessor dedicated to aircraft operating leasing. It is a joint venture between China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (China), AerCap (Ireland), CACIB (France) and East Epoch (Hong Kong, China).

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial.  

The position manages all aspects of AerDragon’s aircraft leasing customers in Europe and the Americas.

This position reports to the Head of International & COO and is based in Shannon, Ireland with frequent international travel.

Specific Responsibilities

• Business development

• Placing and remarketing of the Company’s aircraft for lease
• Seeking purchase and lease back opportunities
• Assist in transaction structuring from feasibility and economic perspectives;
• Participate in transaction documentation negotiations
•  
• Relationship Management
• Managing relationship with existing and prospective counterparties, including Airlines & OEMs, through frequent contact and site visits
• Primary commercial contact with customers including dealing with collections’ monitoring

• Market and industry research and analysis:
• Produce target airlines’ profiles
• Collect market data, including values, rents and other commercial points
• Draft industry market analysis and commercial reports as required

Required Experiences and Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with a very good understanding of the aircraft leasing and financing sectors
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• ‘Can Do’ attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Quantitative understanding of business is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• University degree, master degree preferred
