Description
As a member of the Contracts Management department, which is responsible for monitoring and managing lease/purchase/sale agreements and ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, the (Senior) Contracts Manager is required to work in an international, multi-cultural environment and communicate effectively in English. This position is based in Beijing with occasional domestic and international travel.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Contracts drafting, negotiation, and reviewing
- Ensure contract records are current and complete
- Monitor and ensure the company’s rights are protected and obligations fulfilled in compliance with agreements and according to applicable law
- Manage and mitigate the company’s contractual and credit risks
- Draft periodic reports and other reports to Board, shareholders and other parties
- Lessee compliance, including:
- Interface with airline clients, prepare and collect Conditions Precedents (CPs) for delivery/redelivery of aircraft in a timely manner
- Closely monitor the contracts’ enforcement, including but not limited to payment collection process, letters of credit, insurance and interest registration in relevant authorities
- Review contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Support the company’s marketing campaign
- Other tasks
Required qualifications
- University degree required, master degree preferred
- At least three years relevant work experiences
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
- Unrestricted right to work in China
